An array of photo frames were lined, along with the foyer. Family and individual portraits, all smiling, contented, filled with fun and frolic.

I could imagine every picture having an innate story. My eyes turned moist at the reflection of love, warmth and hope.

A trail of thoughts trapped me until I reached the last frame. Very intimidating.

A woman, her teal eyes were captivating.

I tried to decipher, every furrow buried deep, a mystery it holds and agony untold.

Do I know her?

She does look dear.

Why can’t I remember?

I turned away from the mirror in vexation.

Life is unfair to those whose strength was stollen by Alzheimer’s or Dementia. The fight never ends till the end.
